| Patricia A. Hibbert
has designed and created costumes for Opera, Musical
Theater, and Theater for over 20 years. An
award winning designer, she has worked with color, texture, and period
styles to design and create her enormous stock. She has also
accumulated thousands of pieces of period clothing from the last
century, including period sleepwear dresses, suits, furs, hats, coats
and much more for men, women and children. These vintage
items
are both for rent and sale. She has worked with many
opera companies throughout the United States and Canada. Her
work
has been reviewed by Opera News, the New York Times, as well as many
other newspapers from New England to Florida. Patty's
business
and home are based in Fryeburg, Maine. The basis of the
business
is costumes designed and constructed which are then added to
her

reviewers. This costume rental program is to provide support for professional arts organizations and companies. The rental fees apply to a full run including the rehearsal fitting production period, performance and return time. This fee is determined on a per use basis. Most operas have different rental prices based on number of costumes and value of that particular collection, as well as numbers of costumes needed for each production. Rentals do not include shoes or wigs. The rental agreement will include a security deposit, which is determined by the replacement value of the costumes rented. All shows require a certificate of insurance based on the replacement value of the costumes. This certificate is required enforced from the pickup date until the return date of the costumes. The name on the certificate must be Patricia A. Hibbert Costuming. All shipping is the responsibility of the company renting costumes from pickup to the return of the costumes. All returned costumes are to be packed 'dry'. Costumes are shipped in heavy duty double walled boxes measuring 20" X 20" X 27". The shipper used is the choice of the renting company. Most boxes will weigh approximately 50 pounds. |
